Are you seeking to join the Los Santos Police Department? Have you got what it takes? You've come to the right place! A career in the LSPD isn't necessarily one of the easiest, but it certainly is one of the most rewarding. In order to have a successful career here you must be loyal, professional, and dedicated. Make sure that you read this post before applying.

We, the Field Training Operations division, would like to give you some basic notions of how our recruitment process works, as-well what you must have in order to apply for the Los Santos Police Department.



REQUIREMENTS:

1.Must have lived in Los Santos for the required amount of time.
(( You must be at least level 5 with at least 80 total playing hours. ))

2.Must be at least 21 years old.
(( You won't be denied if you're below the age of 21 in your stats screenshot. ))

3.Life biography must contain a minimum of 350+ words.
(( Your biography must be at least 350 words ))

4.Must be able to use Central Dispatch.
(( You must have a working microphone and TeamSpeak installed. ))

5.Must not be, or have been, employed in any sort of illegal job or organization. (Such as drug dealing/smuggling, arms dealing, or prostitution.)
(( You may not have any Criminal Record with in the past week or a major amount of crimes or 2 or more Warnings. You will not be denied for having an illegal job in your stats screenshot. ))

6.Must be in a good physical and mental condition.
(( You must be able to Roleplay properly and not have your application metagame'd. ))

7.Must be able to write and speak fluent English.
(( This is for OOC and IC purposes. If we cannot understand you on TeamSpeak we can decline you. ))

8.Must know the Los Santos area well.
(( You must know all the basic locations within Los Santos, such as: Idlewood, Rodeo Bank, Flint Bridge, ect. You WILL be tested on this. ))

9.Must have a valid identification.
(( You must have an updated character screenshot, /stats. ))

PROCESS:

1.Application
When posting an application, the applicant should be aware of the Cap. The LSPD only allows limited amount Cadets at any given time. When this cap is reached, applicants who have passed their training (Step 2) will be placed on the Waiting List in the order that they passed their training. Once a spot becomes available, you will receive your invite. Make sure to go over the Handbook and get familiarized with everything as you will be tested on most of it. (( You will need to go into TeamSpeak and wait in the recruitment lobby until an FTO officer comes to you. Also, for each part, you are to meet the officer in-game and RP handing your application to him/her, you MUST be wearing nice clothes, if you are in a tank top and jeans, you will be declined. ))

2.Interview
Just like any other job, you'll have to go trough an interview. This interview consists of multiple items and questions which will help our Field Training Officers determine if you're fit to join the Los Santos Metropolitan Police Department. You'll be questioned on items such as the reason being for your joining to previous work experience. You'll also be asked many questions that test your character and intelligence.

3.Phase 1
This segment of the recruitment procedure consists of a series of theory lessons. You will be instructed on laws of San Andreas. You will be instructed on how the Department works, how does it operates and so. Focus on what your FTO is telling you, it's crucial for you to understand. Do nto hesitate to ask questions.

4.Phase 2
The Cadet training segments consists of the last procedure before taking Cadet to Officer exam. You will be required to apply all the knowledge from Phase 1 training during your day to day duties. You will be allowed to patrol only with an officer. During this stage, you will learn all the practical skills required during your daily duties.

5.Phase 3
After you are done with Phase 1 and Phase 2 you will be directed to take a CTO test. Test consists of 2 phases, written exam and a practical exam. Keep in mind, that it can be only done by a Sergeant or above, related to FTO division. Make sure that you are fully prepared to the CTO, as failing it will get you terminated from the Department. Do not hesitate to ask FTO members to help you. You are expected to commit mistakes, as they allow you to get your own experience out of different situations. I wish you good luck in your journey with the LSPD and I hope to see you promoted to an officer soon.
